    Verdict

Godolphin’s Dubai Falcon, out of a mare that has produced winners with her first two foals to race, is among several interesting newcomers in this. Jomrok, a 75,000gns yearling, is a half-sister to four winners while Nette Rousse has a middle-distance pedigree. The Kingman colt Dalaalaat won his maiden here last year and further progress in anticipated, though he does have a 7lb penalty to carry. QARASU was easy to back on debut over a mile at Newbury but found only one too good. The winner has already won a handicap over this trip this season and Roger Charlton’s colt can go one better this evening. Aktau, third over track and trip last month, may need further and now sports headgear.
