    Verdict

Bumper winner Hurricane Hollow finished runner-up over 1m4f at Ripon last time and this longer trip holds no fears. But INCUS (NAP) won over today’s distance in soft ground at Doncaster last week and Ed de Giles’ charge gets the vote to defy a 6lb rise. Hallstatt was not beaten far here last month but would prefer a faster surface while Spiritoftomintoul finished a long way behind the selection last time. Aumerle has won a couple of times on the all-weather but Marshall Aid hasn’t won anywhere yet.
