In depth

Verdict

A classy renewal of this Listed contest. The last two winners of the Cesarewitch - Buzz and Rajinsky – take their chance but TRUESHAN landed the odds in this last year, beating the subsequent Group 3 and Group 2 winner Quickthorn with something to spare, and is difficult to oppose in a repeat bid with the going in his favour. Urban Artist is hard to catch right and hasn’t won since 2020 but Mojo Star is respected on his second in last year’s Ascot Gold Cup when Tashkhan was fifth. Typewriter has a lot to find on these terms.
