Verdict
Magic City was slowly away last time at Pontefract and is still fairly treated on his best form. Haraz wasn’t beaten far at Wolverhampton last month and races off the same mark but remains winless. IMPERIAL STATE (NAP) blew hot and cold last year but still won at Salisbury and Thirsk and there was plenty to like about his comeback sixth at Chelmsford, where he didn’t get the run of the race. He needs a galloping track so has everything in his favour today. Pirate's Treasure seems better on the all-weather but Pumaflor should be approaching peak fitness after a couple of runs and has each-way claims.
