        Verdict

        Merlin just missed out over a mile at Redcar last time but isn’t certain to appreciate this shorter trip. STANHOPE is preferred given he had no luck in-running when a close-up fourth in a handicap at Yarmouth on his reappearance and should find this easier. Primanora will need to improve on what she has shown to date but Razzmatazz is a sister to the high-class sprinter Move In Time among others and makes more appeal than Hollander of the newcomers.
