In depth
Verdict
Not the strongest of maidens and a chance for Twofan to land this contest at the expense of Sadler's Pride and Indian Chase. Twofan's stamina has to be a doubt when taking your chances here but it is worth noting that his action looks distinctly suited to cut in the ground and in a modest race he makes most appeal. Sadler's Pride finished second to a 77-rated horse at Hamilton over 1m3f. He does not look particularly speedy so there is at least the hope that this trip can bring out the best in him. Indian Chase ran an encouraging flat debut. The fact that this exposed chaser is quite so short in the market says a lot. Great Gidding has a stout staying pedigree and could be the best of the Hugh Morrison duo. The remainder are watched unless there is any market move saying otherwise. Twofan has the most positives and we will stick with him given the modest look of the opposition.
