In depth

Verdict

Mia's Boy can win this handicap at he expense of Magical Music and Golden Prospect. The selection won a maiden at Thirsk last time out and has his first run in handicap company racing off a mark of seventy three. That looks a fair mark and if able to capitalize on that then he should be able to follow up. Magical Music is four pounds higher for his latest win at Pontefract. That seems fair as he was able to win off a mark off seventy five on the all weather. He clearly is more at home on the all weather but after his latest turf win confidence in the camp might be strong so he is worth noting in the market. Golden Prospect won back to back handicaps in May but as a result his rating has gone through the roof. Although his last race at Newbury was a decent one he looked exposed and therefore he might be within the grip of the handicapper so for the winner we return to Mia's Boy as the likely winner.
