In depth

Verdict

Ginger Pickle, Bixworth Scribe and Kaldoun Kingdom are three against the field in a competitive nursery and the vote is given to Bixworth Scribe The selection won well last time out when beating Liberty Ship, enters handicaps off what looks a handy mark and with his yard continuing in good form he looks the one to be on. Ginger Pickle won well last time out when beating Whispering Desert but that was on heavy ground and he looks vulnerable on this surface. Kaldoun Kingdom was a fair fourth behind The Name Is Frank in a fair maiden last time and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Barbarossa would have a chance on his best form but disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Mistress Cooper hails from a shrewd yard and enters handicaps off a handy mark so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Brixworth Scribe.
