Verdict
Normally run at Ascot, this Listed sprint was won by DAKOTA GOLD (NAP) last year. Michael Dods’ sprinter arrives fresh from last week’s victory in a Group 3 at York and can confirm last year’s running in this with both Maygold and Tis Marvellous. The latter beat subsequent winner Blue De Vega and Al Raya when landing a conditions' race at Leicester last month and can figure again along with progressive stablemate Aljady, who has won four of six outings so far this year and handles soft ground. Moss Gill finished behind the selection at Doncaster last time and the remainder have a tough task on these terms.
