      Verdict

      INFINITI returned to the Flat with a victory in an apprentices’ race at Wetherby. She drops down in trip for this but escapes a penalty and is preferred to Brute Force. The latter beat Bayston Hill at Chelmsford to record his first win after 16 attempts and is only 3lb higher but Denable has yet to win anywhere, though finished in front of Hidden Pearl when third at Yarmouth last time.
