In depth
Verdict
Satwa Laird ran with credit on his debut and is taken to improve and win this opener at the expense of Black Attack and Lookafternumberone. The selection finished and eye catching third of fourteen at Windsor last month on his debut running green in the process. He should come on for the experience and will also strip fitter so difficult to oppose. Black Attack did disappoint on his last outing at Thirsk but he did run well on his debut when finishing second at Ripon. In the process he proved he has ability but is possibly best watched for the time being until recapturing his form. Lookafternumberone would be a more reliable option having shown a glimmer of ability on both his outings to date. He improved to finish third at Ripon back in June so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Satwa Laird.
