Verdict
In a seller that shouldn't take much winning it might be worth taking a chance on newcomer DANESIDE, who won't have to be anything but average to win this with the likes of Sternian and Optimistic Duke not setting the bar very high. The selection pedigree is hardly sparkling and it is a concern that he's pitched in at this level first time up but if running up to his potential he may go very close to scoring. Sternian and Optimistic Duke both are rated 55 but the latter looks to have a stronger chance based on his two solid handicap runs on the turf earlier in the season. Otterton has a bit to do at the weights but she ran above her station in a better race last time out and a repeat would have her close in this line-up. Feed The Goat has shown very little in a couple of runs so will need to improve while Better Be Blue is better treated than Captain Clint but neither look to have a strong chance. It won't take a great performance to win this so newcomer Daneside might have been found a winnable opportunity.
