        Verdict

        THOUWRA clearly has his own ideas about the game and most will have given up on the Godolphin colt after yet another odds-on defeat at Leicester. But you'd expect Mickael Barzalona to make plenty of use of him over this shorter trip from a good draw and there aren't many viable alternatives in this. It's not encouraging to see Cornrow wearing a hood on debut and fellow newcomer Empress Adelaide makes more appeal, though her breeding suggests she'll need further than this. Angus Glens could also find this an insufficient test of stamina but looks best of the rest, though Evermore has plenty of scope.
