        Verdict

        Cripsey Brook was fairly impressive at Pontefract a week ago and escaping a penalty for that win, he is taken to go in again at the main expense of Lunar River and Camille Pissarro. The selection won well under this pilot last week and with ground conditions the same today, he looks sure to put in another big run. He has won off a 6lb higher mark and looks the call in a fairly open contest. Billy One Punch was never able to land a blow last time out having unseated his rider Early on but has claims if less unruly today, whilst Lunar River cruised to victory in a maiden when last seen and may be up to winning off 66 now back in handicap company, Camille Pissarro is game and consistent and has place claims once again, as does Starcross Maid although she tends to find at least one too good. Henry Candy's Piper's Song is another who should not be ruled out of calculations, however Cripsey Brook advertised his well-being last week and is taken to score again.
