Verdict
Bling King made a promising start at Pontefract and the extra furlong will suit but Caledonian Spring should prove best of those with experience as he ran very well at Ascot despite not getting the clearest of runs. Richard Hannon's newcomer Eureka is out of a mare from a staying family and may need more time but Burwaaz is sprint-bred and looks an early type. Universal is presumably the pick of the Godolphin pair though stablemate Pacific Islands has more pace in his pedigree but the speediest-bred entry here is ONE NEW CAT, who is a half-brother to four winning juveniles and out of a mare who scored over the minimum trip as a two-year-old.
