    Verdict

Grey's Monument represents last year’s winning yard and steps up in trip along with Lingfield third GARNER. Ryan Moore partners the latter again which may prove significant as it’s his only ride of the meeting. Of the newcomers, the Godolphin colt Courageous Knight is the first foal of a winner in France while the gelding Tarlo cost 230,000gns. The latter shares ownership with Cold Case, who hails from a speedy family and has an entry in the Two-Year-Old Trophy, while Maxi King and Silencer are others to note.
