Verdict

STRIKE A DEAL is the tentative nomination in an interesting finale where the market may help reveal if there's any confidence behind the chances of Comedy Act, Al Dafa and Barnstorm to name but three. Strike A Deal is one of a number of horses in the race that has been allotted the ceiling mark of 65 but she may prove better suited by this trip on her seasonal return than, say, Comedy Act whose pedigree suggests that he may not be seen to best effect until he's tried over a trip. The form of Strike A Deal's latest start at Yarmouth looks strong and she may be able to give it a further boost by making a winning return. Barnstorm faced a tough task against Party Doctor last time out and may find that this represents a more realistic opportunity whilst it would be no surprise to see Al Dafa show up more prominently with Jamie Spencer taking over from a young apprentice. The blinkers may assist Silent Majority in posting a better display whilst Volatilis has proved reliable and should run his race but he may not be open to as much improvement as Strike A Deal.
