In depth

Verdict

Southampton Joe showed improvement last time to make a winning nursery bow at Chepstow and can defy a subsequent 4lb rise. Ian Balding's progressive type won a shade comfortably and should be in the shake up once again with conditions in his favour. Happy Camper had to overcome trouble in running to score last time and is entitled to go close off a mark just 2lb higher while Fine Frenzy has been highly tried since taking a Windsor maiden in May and should not be underestimated. B A Highflyer has place claims if at his best but is a little more exposed and ran poorly in a Goodwood nursery last time.
