In depth

Verdict

African Grey disappointed last time considering he escaped a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race over 7f at Newcastle before that and he steps up in trip here. King's Coinage ended last year with a victory over a mile at Chelmsford while Dangerous Ends landed a double at Kempton before going close again over 1m2f at Lingfield. But TEWAFEEDJ posted a better effort when fourth upped to 1m4f last month having led at today’s distance and Kevin Ryan’s charge can figure on his handicap debut. Kitsey, Magic Beans and Holyroman Princess are other handicap newcomers to keep an eye on.
