Verdict
Christmas Hamper faces a more difficult task than when winning over 2m at Musselburgh. Tarakkom won over the same trip at Chepstow last time and is upped 4lb while The Ducking Stool was another successful over 2m when scoring at Newbury in October. Hurricane Volta won over 1m4f at Brighton recently but Nam Hai was placed over today’s trip at Goodwood on his latest start and races off the same mark. LADY OF YUE has gone close over 1m6f before and dropping down a couple of grades for this after a comeback run at Ascot, she gets the nod.
