Verdict
Rowan Lodge, Sotik Star and Parnassian are the three against the field here and preference is for Rowan Lodge to follow up a recent success. Parnassian justified favouritism when scoring at Windsor last time but that was his first win of the season and it was a weak affair although he won impressively. Sotik Star is the least exposed of the runners and won a Lingfield maiden in good fashion. He has already shown that he handles cut in the ground and he is a tough opponent. Rowan Lodge only won a claimer last time but did so in decisive fashion and he has run well here on his last two visits to the track. Rowan Lodge can handle this step up in class.
