Verdict

There is little form for backers to go on in the opening race on the card with the David Evans-trained Just For Leo and Kevin Ryan's Surely This Time the only two of the 10 runners to have run previously and they have an advantage with racing experience but it may be worth siding with ROCHE DES VENTS. Richard Hannon has done little wrong with his juveniles this term and the daughter of Bahamian Bounty certainly takes the eye on breeding so she may well be good enough to win at the first time of asking as so many of the yard's runners have been this term. Mark Johnston's Evening Dress is well bred and has to be considered but the yard does not have many first time out juvenile winners so he is probably best watched, while any market support for Marco Botti's Leiba Leiba would be of interest. Just For Leo has the best form of the pair to have raced and makes more appeal than Surely This Time, while Brian Meehan's Angle Knight is likely to do better after this run. This is not a race that one can be confident about with so little form to go on but Richard Hannon has made a super start to the season and he can have another winner with Roche Des Vents.
