Verdict
DANZENO was heavily punted in the Portland at Doncaster a couple of weeks ago and was unlucky to come up against a rejuvenated Stone Of Destiny with the rest well beaten. He’s been raised a couple of pounds for that but should still take the beating. Hamish Macbeth was engaged at Newmarket yesterday while Roulston Scar is having a first run for the Crisfords following a break. Recon Mission won off a 2lb higher mark last year, however, so can’t be ignored and Bernardo O'Reilly won at Doncaster two runs ago. Danzan finished ahead of Dazzling Dan at Haydock but has been beaten twice since.
