    Verdict

An interesting handicap where HUNTING COUNTRY is just preferred to Prairie Storm. Mark Johnston drops Hunting Country back in trip, having seen him run out of gas at Lingfield over 1m 4f last time. This 10f trip looks ideal, and he already has a course and distance win to his name which came on fast ground last season. He looks likely to be very competitive over this distance from his current mark and we'll take him to come good again. Prairie Storm scored here on heavy ground when last seen out in November, and he was consistent last term. He has to prove himself fully on ground this quick, but unless he hates it he should go very close and looks likely to improve again. Stone Of Scone has not been seen since dotting up in a Great Leighs maiden 11 months ago and the assessor did not miss that, handing him a mark of 90, meaning top weight for his handicap debut. Nonetheless, you would have to respect his chance and Ryan Moore is booked. Best Prospect and Red Jade would both be interesting if the rains arrive in time, while Bullet Man can come on for his reappearance run, but Hunting Country gets the vote.
