        Verdict

        Bedrock went close again at Sandown a fortnight ago while I Am Not Here was also narrowly beaten at Catterick last time. But the latter’s earlier wins at Haydock and Ayr came over longer trips and last year’s winner LORD FRANKLIN is preferred. He’s won twice subsequently including at Hamilton last month and Eric Alston’s charge should make another bold bid if a high draw does not prove too much of a hindrance. Polar Forest and Save The Bees have something to find with the selection, Desdichado drops back in trip but is upped in class while it was soft ground when Compton Mill and Della Valle won at Newmarket and Windsor respectively earlier in the year.
