    Verdict

Wannabe Your Man was well backed on his reappearance at Kempton but appeared to throw in the towel once headed and may have his own ideas about the game. Pearl Spice won over 2m here in August and followed up at Kempton but may still be in the handicapper's grip and Ashdown Lad has shown little for his new yard so far. Lineman looks vulnerable on Turf but Honourable Knight has possibilities, as has Desert Recluse. MOUNT MACEDON looked one-paced over 1m4f last year so this step up in trip may be the answer. Luca Cumani wouldn't be persevering with the Hernando gelding if he didn't think he could pick up a race or two.
