Verdict
No Blazing Bailey for Serena Brotherton today however she can land another winner with DREAM OF OLWYN who gets the vote over recent runners' up Thornaby Green, Black Falcon and Ricci De Mare. Bets best kept to a minimum for this finale, but the selections recent second to King Fingal at Pontefract reads pretty well. With that run coming under Hayley Turner, it may be that the filly gets on well with lady jockeys and today could be the day for her maiden win. Proficiency is less exposed than many here, whilst a suicidal pace would suit the strong-stayer Jenny Soba who is being kept busy this year. Neon Blue won well last time at Redcar but that is his preferred venue, so of more interest may be Ricci De Mare and Black Falcon who both come here in good form. Ba Dreramflight got off the mark at Great Leighs on his 13th start and the confidence may be up. The market will be interesting in regard to Mick Easterby's pair; however it is Dream Of Olwyn who gets the tentative vote.
