          Verdict

          A couple of winning debutants to consider in this but Lightning Spear's win came at Kempton in August last year. DUBAI STAR makes more appeal as he romped to a six-length victory at Pontefract on his racecourse debut and John Gosden's colt is preferred the more exposed handicappers. Ginger Jack ran well at York recently, however, and Extraterrestrial beat First Post when runner-up at Goodwood. The latter's stablemate Bahamian C is another with a shout and Nurpur can figure dropping down a grade.
