In depth

Verdict

Mr Chua missed out on a hat-trick when runner-up at York while Young Merlin also finished second at York earlier but has gone off the boil since. Red Secret has failed to build on placed efforts on the all-weather but Arabian Warrior found one to good over 1m4f on his handicap debut and is one to note stepping up in trip. MONJENI never threatened when third in the Cesarewitch trial at Newmarket but faces a much easier task in this lower grade and Ian Williams’ charge may prove the one to side with.
