STATE OF REST only ran three times last season, landing the Grade 1 Saratoga Derby and the Cox Plate at the same level at Moonee Valley in October. Anamoe, beaten a short-head in the latter event, has subsequently won a Group 1 at Randwick so Joseph O'Brien's colt gets the vote to make a successful reappearance. Skalleti has phenomenal career record winning 18 of 25 races including two at Group 1 level. He arrives in top form after victories here and at Saint-Cloud so is an obvious threat. He's twice beaten Mare Australia by a length over the course and distance with last year's Champion Stakes winner Sealiway splitting the pair in the Group 2 Prix d'Harcourt last month. Pretty Tiger hasn't won at this level and Smile Makers looks outclassed.
