Verdict

Line Of Duty has placed at the highest level in France the last twice now having finished third in the Prix du Moulin here last time. But that was over a mile and the Godolphin colt has something to prove on the evidence of earlier attempts over further. He has the beating of Roger Varian’s Mountain Angel on collateral form but the progressive SKALLETI has winning form over today’s trip and in soft going. Jerome Reynier’s grey looks ready for a further step up in class having won a Group 3 contest at Deauville last time and is also preferred to Villa Rosa, who seems best over longer trips. Leo De Fury went close in a Group 3 at the Curragh earlier but this is tougher and Listed winner Flambeur is another facing a stiff task.
