Verdict

Times Up and High Jinx lock horns once again after finishing first and second respectively in the Doncaster Cup. The former should come out best once again of that pair while Les Beaufs has the beating of Gloomy Sunday of the home challengers and could go close. Seismos also has leading claims if his recent second to Novellist is taken at face value but he's unproven over this far. It was hard not to be impressed by TAC DE BOISTRON's win in soft ground at Chester last month. Marco Botti's charge won a Group 2 race here when trained in France, stays 2m and a chance is taken he gets home over today's marathon trip.
