        Verdict

        BLUE ROSE CEN is the only Group 1 winner in the field. It was bottomless ground when she landed the Prix Marcel Boussac at last year’s Arc meeting and Christopher Head’s filly beat Lindy easily enough when winning a trial race here last month. Never Ending Story found the selection too good in the Boussac though won a Group 3 contest at Leopardstown last time while Swingalong could only finish third in the Fred Darling at Newbury. Quickstep has been brought quietly along by Andre Fabre and beat Kelina here last month.
