Verdict
Bon Chic and Russian Regent were due to run over 3m here yesterday so those runs should be monitored. Both the latter’s stablemate Mountain King and Theflyingportrait are two from two around here and Tangolan has won three times at the track. Indian Temple beat Brave Spartacus over course and distance in a similar race in June but the latter is now 4lb better off. RED SPINNER has travelled up from Gloucestershire and looks well treated on the pick of last season’s form. He hasn’t raced since second to a subsequent winner at Chepstow in April but a lay-off isn’t normally a problem for one from his yard.
