It took a while for the penny to drop with CLIFFS OF DOONEEN but he showed a willing attitude to get off the mark at Carlisle and the third has franked the form since. Petite Rhapsody was an impressive winner over track and trip last month and Patrick Wadge takes off 10lb again while Rickety Gate was second off this mark at Carlisle when Lusitanien was unplaced. Warriors Story has gone up 8lb for winning at Newcastle but Wolfspear shouldn’t be far away if the cheekpieces have the desired effect.
