Island Flyer has the ability to win a race like this but arrives on the back of two abject displays, so we'll side with GO SILVER BULLET ahead of Bow School. Lucinda Russell's charge took third over further here last time behind Ollie Magern and the opposition here is far less threatening. Dropping back in trip should be ideal for a horse who hasn't actually won beyond two miles and, while a bit of rain wouldn't go amiss, he appears to act on quick ground. Bow School hasn't yet won in handicap company but is relatively lightly-raced for one of his age and does enjoy fast conditions. This trip is also ideal so while he would appear to have plenty of weight for his recent achievements there are plenty of positives in his profile. Island Flyer fell at the first in the Fox Hunters' at Aintree in April and was then pulled up when a well-backed favourite here three weeks later. He's been given an 80-day break to recapture his love for the game and if the market suggests he's done that it could pay to take note, although like Bow School he looks to have plenty of weight. Retrievethelegend represents a yard with a 25% strike-rate here, so although that's only from a sample of four he must be respected. The 11-year-old took fifth here last time and is dropped a couple of pounds but his best form is on soft ground. Run To Space is tried in first-time headgear but needs to improve plenty for it so our vote goes to Go Silver Bullet.
