In depth

Verdict

Boltissime was second to an in-form rival in a novices’ handicap at Worcester following yet another lay-off. He has ability but has also had his problems and BRIGHT EYED EAGLE (NAP) has more scope. A winner over 1m4f on the Flat, the latter pulled hard on his hurdling debut at Taunton but still finished just behind a subsequent winner and there should be plenty more to come. Fever Roque has placed in a point and a bumper and is preferred to a host of Irish raiders.
