In depth

Verdict

Bescot Springs and The Flaming Matron both had entries here last night. The Shrimp was soon beaten last week at Hexham while Solway Legend disappointed at that track 12 days ago after a debut second over fences at Carlisle. Stoney drops a grade after his fifth at Kelso but still hasn't managed a win under Rules. Gordon Elliott is almost guaranteed to find some improvement in SAND ARTIST (NAP) and he looks well treated in a moderate contest given he's shown his best form so far on ground similar to this.
