Verdict

Weapon Of Choice travelled strongly for a long way last time at Kelso and may well have beaten favourite Sudski Star had he not made a bad mistake at the final flight. Deepsand and Raise A Spark may be a few pounds too high now but Verona Opera has finished second here since winning at Ayr in February and seems to get on well with Brian Hughes. CAIUS MARCIUS is a previous course and distance winner who ran well in a higher grade at Haydock after scoring at Wetherby. Dropped a pound since, he can get back on track today.
