Verdict
Richard Johnson will be disappointed if he can't claw back some ground on Harry Skelton with a hatful of good rides today and Anytime Now is another good opportunity. The Beneficial gelding has improved on a run-by-run basis this term and there should be no excuses here but UPTOWN FUNK (NAP) should make a good fist of keeping the prize in Scotland for Keith Dalgleish. A consistent performer who remains open to progression over timber, he went down by the minimum distance last time and should find this trip ideal. The claim of Callum Bewley is an added bonus. Traditional Dancer is also respected with Bruce Lynn claiming a valuable 7lb with Mill Forge completing the short-list.
