In depth
Verdict
SWORD OF FATE has been alternating between hurdles and fences and appears to have an excellent chance in this racing off a lower mark than when second over the larger obstacles at Cartmel at the start of the month. Balranald has proved hard to place but has switched stables and sports cheekpieces for the first time with Brian Hughes in the saddle and Stage Power may be capable of better. Billy The Squid appears to have a mind of his own but shouldn’t be far away again.
