Devil Water, Caulkin and Patriot are the trio to look at with Devil Water getting the vote. Caulkin has shown ability in Hunter Chases but has had his jumping problems. These smaller obstacles may help and he should be watched in the market on his hurdling bow. Yet to win in twelve starts, Patriot has run well in handicap grade recently, though he disappointed last time. This is a drop in grade and he can go well. Devil Water was placed at Musselburgh before fading badly at Ayr last time. This is a weak affair, and a chance is taken that Devil Water can put that run behind him.
