Verdict

A wide-open renewal. Dubai Devils won over 4m at Hexham last month and I See You Well beat Poppa Poutine at Fontwell, though there is nothing between the pair on today’s terms. Amateur has to go on the shortlist as he was always travelling well when scoring over 3m4f at Ffos Las just over two weeks ago but stamina might be an issue for School Lane and Straight Swap. Rath An Iuir finished sixth in the Eider but was then last of four at Kelso when he should have done better. SOME DETAIL was staying on behind a couple of proven stayers at Taunton and could enjoy a further step up in trip. He looks in good nick and should give supporters a run for their money granted luck in-running. Ladronne has won at Wetherby and Newcastle this term and has had wind surgery since last seen. Oscar Robertson may be the pick of the remainder ahead of Brian Hughes’ mount Glittering Love.
