Oscar's Ballad isn't terribly consistent and was pulled up here in May after winning over 3m1f at the track a month earlier. He looks worth opposing in this off top weight while What A Steel was put up 4lb by the handicapper after finishing a close second over C&D last month. Overyou has more to do than when winning a maiden hurdle at Cartmel, while Northern Acres has run poorly on the Flat since winning a modest contest at Sedgefield and is 6lb higher now. WHAT AN OSCAR disappointed on his latest start over C&D but his earlier second to Master Fiddle at Newbury was a commendable effort and a reproduction of that form would suffice here.
