Nick Alexander and daughter Lucy won this last year and nobody could begrudge ANOTHER MATTIE a first success. He was just beaten over a shorter trip at this meeting last year and is well worth another try over this longer distance having twice finished second over 2m2f at Kelso this season. Trickaway has won a point-to-point and a bumper and is an interesting recruit to hurdling but Silver Gent has been a little disappointing so far over timber and winning pointer Tambour Major makes his debut under Rules. Cobajayisland has his first run since a third over 3m here in September.
