Verdict
A few of these have a bit to prove at present and recent Downpatrick winner was due to run last night at Down Royal. Jack Devine will likely start favourite having beaten Reivers Lodge over course and distance at the start of the month, though has suffered a 9lb hike in the weights. Tangolan, Baysbrown and Maraweh are others with winning form over track and trip and IMPULSIVE AMERICAN (NAP) has won here over hurdles and fences. David Pipe’s strike-rate here suggests the top weight will have improved for a comeback run at Market Rasen and he is taken to prove his class.
