In depth
Verdict
Iffjack had nine runs over hurdles without managing a victory but maybe his luck will change over the larger obstacles. Island Villa did win over timber but that was more than a year ago and he's more exposed than a few of these. Little Pop takes a fierce hold and was tailed off on his fencing bow at Sedgefield while Great Demeanor has only been placed twice in five runs over fences and is 5lb out of the handicap. MONBEG RIVER has always looked a chasing type and has already won a point-to-point. Despite making his seasonal reappearance, he could be the one to beat.
