Amalfi Doug finished third in a similar contest here last month though never threatened the winner and a chance is taken BAFANA BLUE (NAP) copes in this higher grade. A progressive chaser last year, he ran well over track and trip on a recent reappearance and may prove the one to side with. Elmono won in soft going at Carlisle last time but is upped a couple of grades off a 5lb higher mark.
