Beeno is a Cartmel specialist and Go Fox has gone up 5lb for winning here earlier in the month but makes more appeal than Gripper, who has run seven times in handicaps and never looked like winning. UNCLE HENRY has fallen the last twice but was still travelling last month at Cork and he was tackling strong handicap when last completing. He could be the answer to this ahead of the returning Laskadine, who was second at Hexham in the spring when Universal Folly was pulled up having failed to handle rain-softened ground.
