      Verdict

      Neither Jackofhearts nor Kaylan's Rose make much appeal in this but there shouldn't be much between the remaining trio. Pumped Up Kicks has already won twice here, including one over course and distance. She was far from disgraced last time at Navan and should give another good account but another ex-pointer, BLAKLION, looked a smart prospect when winning a couple of bumpers earlier in the year and should be even better over timber. Getting 7lb from the mare, he can make a winning reappearance as he's a lot less exposed than last month's Cork winner Ourbeautifuldream.

      Blaklion 5-4fav (11-9) Led, ridden and headed narrowly over 1f out, rallied to lead again inside final furlong, rider lost iron towards finish, won at Haydock 2m NH flat (5) gd in Apr beating Degooch (11-9) by 1 1/4l, 8 ran.

      Jackofhearts 66-1 (10-9) Tracked leader and keen, not fluent 4th, quickly lost place from 3 out, last of 8, 30l behind Taglietelle (11-12) at Perth 2m nh nov hdl (4) gd.

      Ourbeautifuldream (IRE) 7-1 (11-5) Led, ridden when not fluent 2 out, jumped right and headed last, no impression towards finish, 2nd of 4, 2l behind I C Gold (10-11) at Perth 2m 4f hcp hdl 0-135 (3) gd.

      Kaylan's Rose 66-1 (10-4) Held up in rear, pushed along 2 out, soon weakened, 6th of 9, 28l behind Taglietelle (11-5) at Cartmel 2m 1f nh nov hdl (4) gd in Aug.
